The International Open University (IOU), established by Dr. Bilal Philips, aims to provide accessible, authentic Islamic knowledge at an affordable price. The institution offers a variety of courses in English, serving as a resource for Muslims who wish to adhere to the prophetic directive of seeking knowledge. The IOU features over 28 courses available in the free diploma section and provides a tuition-free, online Bachelor of Arts in Islamic Studies. This program is built upon a modified curriculum influenced by reputable institutions such as the Islamic University of Madeenah, Omdurman Islamic University, and Al-Azhar University, Cairo.

In addition to Islamic Studies, students have the opportunity to pursue studies in various fields including Education, Islamic Economics, Banking & Finance, Psychology, and Arabic Language & Linguistics.

It is important to note that this app is currently designed for the IOU degree section and intended for students already enrolled in courses for the current semester. For registration and enrollment with the IOU, prospective students can visit http://iou.edu.gm.
